The Randy Shannon era is over. The University of Miami fired Shannon as football coach on Saturday night, hours after the Hurricanes suffered a shocking 23-20 overtime loss to South Florida in the final game of the regular season. UM athletic director Kirby Hocutt announced the dismissal in a written statement
