From Motown to Woodstock, the 1960's proved to be a wide swung pendulum of musical tastes and talents. As the 1950's ushered in the vast array of genres being offered up to a diversifying nation, 1960's America took the torch and continued on course. Hot off the presses in 1960 was the formation of Motown Record Corporation. This would be the vessel that would launch the careers of numerous soul artists. Legendary talents like Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson got their start with Motown.
