Russell Brand Denied Entry Into Canada Pranks Fans!
You got us!
Yesterday, Russell Brand wrote the following tweet about missing his show at the Casino Rama in Ontario:
"HELP! I'm gonna be late for Casino Rama show unless someone can force Canadian customs officials to let us land in Orillia."
"Tonight's Casino Rama show postponed. I'm sorry. I can't enter Canada. We must abolish the [...]
We wonder how he's going to try and explain this one!
The involuntarily manslaughter trial for Dr. Conrad Murray is finally well underway, and despite his lawyers alleging that when the cardiologist left Michael Jackson briefly on the day he died, it was the pop icon himself who gave himself the fatal dosage of Propofol, a source close to the case has revealed that the Los Angeles police department found NO proof of such, as his fingerprints were no where to be found on the prescription bottles!
The insider explains:
"Plain and simply, the Los Angeles Police Department didn't find any fingerprints of Michael Jackson's on ANY Propofol bottles or the Lorazepam bottles. There were no partial fingerprints of Michael's or any unknown prints on the medication bottles."
Which, of course, only makes the testimony from paramedics and the E.R. doctor on call that day, who all claim that Murray never told them that he had given Jackson Propofol, all that more damning!
It just keeps getting shadier and shadier, doesn't it?
All we have to say is: Murray's defense team has their work cut out for them!

Although Wanted 2 had been put on hold earlier in the year, the original script's writers, Derek Haas and Michael Brandt, have reportedly been tapped to write the sequel!
But there's still no Angie involved in this one, right?
Eh - we think we'll skip it!

Affiliate Marketing and PPC
For many affiliate entrepreneurs, pay per click or PPC is really a cost-effective indicates of targeted Web marketing. Right here is how PPC search engines work.
These search engines like google place your listings online after which rate them based on bids. In short, whoever bids the highest amount moves towards the top from the lookup engine. Hence affiliate marketers bid in opposition to one another to obtain higher rank for his or her targeted keyword ads.
The second greatest bidder follows number 1 together with his or her ad becoming positioned beneath the very first ad. Then the 3rd greatest bidder follows beneath the seconds ad, and so forth.
Goal would be to try for the first web page in search engine searches. Obviously any of the leading placements would be best. How Affiliate Marketers Make Money with PPCWhen someone clicks your ad inside a PPC campaign, you purchase that click on what ever quantity you bid, like 50-cents per click. However, note that as an affiliate marketer, you are only compensated when individuals buy the products that you are promoting.
To put it differently the product seller, is not heading to become reimbursing you for the PPC payouts. So make certain you've funds to cover this kind of advertising and set spending budget limits till you learn and are extremely familiar with it, or you can lose a great deal fast. However, some individuals set up web types to capture and harvest leads for adhere to up emails to ensure that they can increase their closing ratio with time. Their autoresponders hooked up via these forms send out messages frequently to make much more money by attempting to: cross sell, seek referrals, make back again ends product sales, up-sell and much more.
So there are many ways to earn money from PPC campaigns. Just make sure you have money to cover clicks up front. Budget and keep track of accordingly.
Functions and Benefits for Affiliate MarketersThere are a few major advantages with PPC campaigns. Initial, you receive monitoring links in your PPC ads, so you are able to monitor stats at any time to tweak your ad copy and check site clicks and conversion rate. And second, the much more targeted the ad, the more targeted the lead. You spend per click on, so you may want to not use words like Free inside your ad copy unless of course you're looking for signal ups and feel this will obtain the results you seek. Freebies only entice freebie seekers and never true buyers for your site.

Kat Von D And Jesse James Have Broken Up Once And For All!
Yes, Jesse James and Kat Von D have broken up yet again!
And from what it sounds like, they split for good!!!

This is a HUGE accomplishment for equality!
We couldn't be happier that she's doing what is right!
Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, a Republican from Florida, announced today that she will be co-sponsoring the bill to repeal the federal Defense of Marriage Act, making her the second of her party to join the LGBT Equality Caucus, alongside Richard Hanna of New York!
She says:
“I voted against the constitutional amendment defining marriage [in 2006] so I’m pleased to cosponsor the repeal of DOMA and work with my colleagues on marriage equality.”
And Rep. Jerrold Nadler of New York, the original sponsor of the House DOMA repeal bill, says:
“She is a tremendous ally in the world’s struggles for freedom and against oppression and discrimination. She is widely recognized as a champion of human rights and human dignity. And her support reminds us that the march to repeal the discriminatory DOMA is not a partisan issue. … [T]he drive to end DOMA is — and must be — a collective, nonpartisan effort that unites Americans behind a simple push for equality.”
Such a bold and brave move!
Slowly but surely, perceptions are changing - and they will only continue to!
This is an EQUAL RIGHTS issue, and eventually, this country will recognize the LGBT community as deserving of those SAME RIGHTS that everyone else has!
Thank you, thank you, thank you Rep. Ros-Lehtinen, for taking such a brave step! We sincerely hope that many will soon follow!
And check out her speech regarding the issue...AFTER THE JUMP!

It is an honor to be here at the 2011 Spirit of Lincoln Awards reception.
I also want to congratulate Log Cabin Republican Executive Director Clark Cooper and Deputy Executive Director Christian Berle for putting together this wonderful event.
Over the years, we have made important steps in securing equal rights for all Americans.
As a founding member of the Congressional LGBT Equality caucus, I have worked to extend equal rights to the LGBT community and eliminate hate-motivated crimes.
However, I know that without each and every one of you my voice would be lost in the background.
As a result of your tireless work, we have won great victories in the last few years such as the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and New York’s passage of marriage equality.
For too many years, “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” made many of our brave men and women hide who they are.
Many went from one day to the next always worried whether they were going to be discharged.
No one who wants to serve in our armed forces should be turned away due to sexual orientation.
This summer, New York’s state legislature recognized the right of same-sex couples to marry.
This historic event was also a triumph for limited government.
As Republicans, we are committed to ensure that the federal governments play its proper role.
Defining marriage is not part of that role.
We are here tonight for equality and self worth.
All of us know that LGBT equality is not about creating “special rights;”
It is about ensuring the individual rights we all share as we fight for equality and justice.
As Republicans, we believe that our individual rights are not granted by our government.
They are our birth-right.
We also believe individuals should be judged on their merits and accomplishments and not by their race, religion or sexual orientation.
That is why the work Log Cabin Republicans does is so important.
You are able to show that conservative principles dovetail perfectly into issues of freedom and equality.
Those of the very issues the LGBT community has been fighting for and will continue to fight for.
With your help our country will continue its journey towards that “more perfect union” and give every individual, in the words of President Lincoln, “an unfettered start in the race of life.”

Oscar Reaction Wrap Up: The Good, The Dull And The OMG Totally Over It!
Yes, yesterday's Oscar nomination roll-out brought a fair amount of anger-inducing surprises. But it also delivered — predictably, soothingly — what we can always expect: a slew [...]
One doesn't typically equate fan boys and horror buffs with the Sundance crowd (heck, they've got Comic Con, after all). But when Rutger Hauer is in town, it's a different story.
The 67-year-old Dutch actor, perhaps best known for his roles in films like "Blade Runner" and the original version of "The Hitcher," came to Park City, Utah to screen his latest venture, an over-the-top gore fest called "Hobo With a Shotgun," much to the delight of movie fans with particularly off-kilter taste.
Hauer sat down with MTV News to discuss all the slaughter in the flick about a town gone very awry. "This is not that serious," Hauer said of the film's grindhouse-style violence. While he acknowledges the film's violence walks "a fine line," he argues that in the shock-value horror genre, "The buttons have already been pushed."
"It's a different story," he says of the film, adding, "It's not about limbs flying and how creatively you try and kill somebody."
In true camp-movie fashion, "Hobo" was screened at midnight last week to a raucous crowd that ate up every kill and cheesy line of dialogue. Even Hauer, who plays the film's vigilante — and the armed homeless dude of the title — couldn't help but get caught up in the madness of the event. He was having a blast, and was spotted filming the pre-screening hubbub with his own camera.
After the premiere, the star took questions from the audience, and as Hauer revealed to MTV, one theatergoer had a particularly stand-out query. "One kid asked me, 'I've always wanted to kill somebody, is a shotgun the right way to do it'?", to which Hauer initially responded, "Huh?!"
Then, in the true splatter-flick spirit, Hauer suggested, "Scissor hands. Why do it so quickly? Do it slowly, you know?"

This is a big victory for the the heirs of Bob Marley.
A federal judge has ruled against a company that has been using the reggae legend's image in making and selling toys and apparel.
Leo Valencia, owner of Avela, has been ordered to pay Marley's family $300,000 in damages after the family complained that they didn't want to see Bob Marley's image portrayed on bobbleheads and plush toys.
The judge is expected to award more damages after determining if there was more profit lost because of unfair competition.
This is huge for the family considering just a few months ago they lost a lawsuit in obtaining the rights to some of Marley's most famous songs.
Such a shame, but at least they won this time.

That’s the situation we found ourselves in on Thursday after checking out “Silent House,” [...]
You can say a lot of things about the Sundance Film Festival, but nobody will ever claim that it doesn't have its moments of surrealism. Case in point the photo below, featuring movie star Susan Sarandon playing ping-pong against none other than Grammy winning rap artist Lil Jon. Susan's love for the game has been known for a while -- she's been seen in New York City battling in Washington Square Park, for example -- but even frequent celebrity watchers have to take a moment to drink this in...
